Everybody Hurts

It seems to me, as the end of the first half approaches, that the theme of this year’s Super Bowl XLIII Ads is extreme violence done to one’s person.*

Could be an unconscious corporate reaction to spending so much for airtime during the worst recession anyone can remember.

Either that or everyone’s trying to recreate the Office Linebacker (not doable).

*Update: One’s person and small animals.
