College educated white males are making the biggest difference in this election as they moved from Bush in 2004 to Obama this year.

Not that anyone in their right mind believed it for a second, but we are not living in a post racial society. Update: But more so than I thought.

I live in a pretty quiet neighborhood in San Francisco. Everyone here is pretty political, so we’re always up for a national election. But this morning, for the first time since I’ve lived here, I had to wait in line to cast my vote. My polling place even ran out of ballots for a brief period at only 9:30am. This is going to be an historic day in terms of voter turnout. And we all know what is driving those turnout numbers. This is going to be an epic wipeout.
