In a corner of San Francisco, between Portrero Hill and the Dogpatch, a bunch of dudes are busy building the next new cable car that will hit the streets of San Francisco – the last city streets where you can ride a real cable car (also the first).
And it’s gonna take awhile. The group of craftsmen have rolled out eleven new models in the last few decades. Pretty cool. The internet boom rolls through town, a new biotech city emerges South of Market, fads come and go. And these guys just keep hammering away on the next cable car, day by day, year by year. Great, great town.
Luckily Rice-A-Roni gets push off its assembly line a little quicker.
