Beating the PVRs

I knew the tube nets had to get creative to come up with a way to deal with viewers who fast forward over commercials. But I must admit, I never considered the idea of creating a still image and leaving it on the screen for a full 30 seconds so it looks good even at high speeds.

Of course, only PVR rookies actually have to look at the screen during fast fowarding. For us veterans, it’s more of a Yoda thing where you feel the moment when you should hit the play button.

Concentration is important!
