Civilian Service

Ever wonder what civilians in Israel are called?

It sure seems like we are getting plenty of media coverage of civilians in Lebanon. Forget the fact that they have been put in the line of fire by the sick plans and continued intimidation of a terror group (come one, what would the media say if Israel started launching rockets from a schoolyard or a hospital parking lot?). Let’s not even get into details or moral relativism here.

The question is simple. What do you call the people on the receiving end of several hundred poorly aimed rockets a day? Clearly they are not civilians, so what then? Maybe the mystery word here is Jews?
