Updates Anyone

Looks like the Senate wants to know what’s going on in Iraq:

The Senate signaled its growing unease with the war in Iraq today, voting overwhelmingly to demand regular reports from the White House on the course of the conflict and on the progress that Iraqi forces are making in securing their own country.

Isn’t it sort of sad that the political class feels the need to wait until a president is suffering terrible poll numbers before demanding something as basic as this?

As bad as this is looking for Bush, I really think it all looks a lot worse for those who, in their guts, disagreed, but who went along for political reasons.

Concentration is important!
