Big Oil’s Slippery Slope

We don’t always expect the whole truth and nothing but when it comes to big oil. But it’s a whole different ballgame when you fib to Congress:

A White House document shows that executives from big oil companies met with Vice President Cheney’s energy task force in 2001 — something long suspected by environmentalists but denied as recently as last week by industry officials testifying before Congress.

So what happens now? This ain’t a few baseball players jerking more homeruns than usual. These guys gave at the office, big time. Who among the politicians will bite the hand that greases their palms?

Concentration is important!
