The Book of Reimbursement

As a staunch Church/State separatist, I must admit I don’t have that big of a problem with the idea of shelling out some FEMA dough for faith-based orgs that provided shelter from the storm – provided none of the cash goes to peddling religion.

Having said that, the move could be seen to fly in the face of what religious giving is all about, no?

Next we’ll hear about the contract Halliburton won to rebuild hurricane-hit Churches.
