Behaviorism 101

By now the following idiotic DeLayism aimied at the judges in the Schiavo case has been around D.C. and the rest of country:

The time will come for the men responsible for this to answer for their behavior.

What amazes me is not the mean-spirited and downright disgusting nature of the comment (that would fall into the par for the course category), but rather just how wrong it is. There is one fact of life that is known nowhere so well as it is among the sleaziest and most hypocritical members of Congress.

Men responsible for bad things almost never have to answer for their behavior.

Let’s hope these last, desperate grasps at power and status will make Mr. DeLay an exception.
