I don’t agree with naming names and hurting people. You can get to the truth in a different way.
I was a smalltime producer for one of the Bay Area’s television stations. I went to hundreds of games during this period. I didn’t miss the story and I was a college punk who did little else than stick my microphone in the pile to get some postgame sound.
No one connected with baseball in any way missed this. No one.
