We already know that Podcasting is getting a tremendous amount of press coverage even though these are early days.
But this is the web, so the new movement is also getting measured. Is it a massive market yet? Perhaps not. But there are three key pieces of data in the Feedburner report on Podcasting. People are producing Podcasts. People are subscribing to them. And both numbers are growing.
It will be interesting to track the growth of Podcasting as compared to the rise of blogs. The latter grew organically for years before the media kicked in with what has become an enormous and ongoing PR boost. The former is getting big pub right out of the box.
