Re-Served

There is now talk of extending the amount (more call-ups, long tours) of active duty that individual reservists will face over the course of their careers.

The move may be necessary given the stretched-thin nature of the National Guard. But what will it mean for recruitment and retention if being a member of the Guard becomes a full-time, active duty job?
