Preacher in Chief

A U.S. district judge has denied Michael Newdow’s legal attempt to bar the reciting of a Christian prayer during W’s inauguration.

Such prayers and references to god are everywhere in our supposedly law-driven, secular lives.

But if you ask me, Newdow was on the right side again. A Christian prayer has no place in the swearing in of a secular leader. Period.

Of course, my prayers weren’t answered prior to the election. So I have little hope they’ll do much now.

Concentration is important!
