Verbless in TiVoland

The folks at TiVo are concerned about the misuse of their trademark. Specifically, they are worried about the use of the word TiVo as a verb in the media and in films.

They don’t want people to say, “I TiVoed my favorite show.”

A spokewoman complained that the company wants to avoid seeing things go the way they did for brands like Kleenex and Xerox.

Are you kidding me? With thinking like this, they’ll be lucky if their brand goes the way of Kozmo.
