House Conservatives Intelligence Gap

Apparently the message from the White House and the House leadership wasn’t enough to convince some members to get on board and pass the intelligence reform bill recommended by the 9-11 Commission.

The disappointment (if it is one) shouldn’t surprise Bush and Cheney too much. They set the tone. Rice, Hadley and Gonzales get promotions, Rummy and Wolfie and others still in their jobs. The message could not be more clear. This is not the season to reform that which is wrong. This is the season to reward it.

Concentration is important!
