Fundraising on Steroids

During his campaign, Governor Arnold ran as a candidate who would get the special interests out of Sacramento and stop the rampant level of fundraising associated with Gray Davis.

Well, in his first year in office, Arnold managed to clean and jerk a cool $26 million (or about double of what Davis raised in his last year in office). Most of that money came from the very special interest groups that Arnold ran against, some of it in chunks as large as 500k.

Concentration is important!
