Courage and Conviction?

Chirac describes Arafat as “a man of courage and conviction who for 40 years incarnated the Palestinians’ fight for recognition of their national rights.”

Well, I agree with the incarnation part.

On Thursday, Arafat’s flag-draped coffin was carried to a plane bound for Cairo by white gloved members of the French Gardes Republicains, thus ending a era when Yasser (and others like him) were far too often treated like the toast of Paris.

Concentration is important!
