It’s Not Just the Wolves

Cheney is back at it. Not only is he scaring you about a future world with Kerry in the White House. He’s trying to scare you about the shape of history had Kerry been president in the past:

“One way the world might look if he had been in charge is, he would have ceded our right to defend ourselves to the United Nations. . . . If John Kerry had been in charge, maybe the Soviet Union would still be in business. . . . If John Kerry had been in charge, Saddam might well control the Persian Gulf today. . . . He might well have nuclear weapons. It’s a good thing he wasn’t in charge.”

Things Cheney left out. The world probably would still respect us, Howard Stern wouldn’t be leaving broadcast radio, and the Dixie Chicks probably wouldn’t be nearly as popular in the Blue States. Oh yeah, and I’m guessing Halliburton would probably have to bid on government work.

How effective is John Kerry? He could’ve even figured out a way to make communism work. Now that’s impressive.

Leave it to Cheney to make the wolf commercial look good.
