Dipping into Nothingness?
It’s fine to be sorry. But let’s be reasonable.
In her apology to Laura Bush for questioning whether the First Lady had ever held a real job (other than locking the liquor cabinet), Teresa Heinz Kerry explained:
“I had forgotten that Mrs. Bush had worked as a schoolteacher and librarian, and there couldn’t be a more important job than teaching our children.”
No more important job?
What about making every hamburger, hot dog and side of fries in this country taste just a little better?
