Cash and Carry States

As of the end of September, both Bush and Kerry still had a cool $37 million on hand to last them through the last few weeks of the campaign.

Now it’s all a matter of which side can squeeze out the most attacks per dollar.

They will not be alone. While the reds have more green than the blues, both the RNC and DNC are reasonanbly flush with cash. And we can expect the 527s to ratchet up raising and spending to a (more) fevered pace. If you live in a swing state, it might be a good time to catch up on those movie rentals.

Concentration is important!
