… And I Approved This Blog Posting

And you thought reality television was a drag.

In the last seven months or so, residents of Toledo have been treated to a cool 14,273 television commercials about the presidential race.

Given it’s status as a key swing state, it shouldn’t surprise anyone that Ohio is at the epicenter of the ad wars. You’ve got to feel for the television-watching residents in that part of the country. They are caught in the crossfire of the worst garbage that American politics has to offer while those of us in states that are strictly red or blue are free to enjoy the quiet titillation offered by the Coors twins and Cialis ads.

Oh, Ohio. Maybe this is television’s version of poetic justice.

Call it payback for Springer.
