Fear Mongering Hits a New Low

Dick Cheney took the art of political fear mongering to an all-time low during a campaign stop in Iowa on Tuesday.

Take a look at this quote: “It’s absolutely essential that eight weeks from today, on Nov. 2, we make the right choice, because if we make the wrong choice then the danger is that we’ll get hit again and we’ll be hit in a way that will be devastating from the standpoint of the United States.”

Hey, we all play politics. But this really is disgusting even by Washington standards.

And this is just the beginning. When the race tightens back up, look for Cheney to accuse Kerry of having nuclear weapons and other WMDs hidden in the luggage compartment of his campaign bus.

Concentration is important!
