Not Even a One Night Stand

A lot of the reasons that New York seemed to be the ideal (if “unconventional”) spot for the Republican convention don’t seem to be such good reasons anymore. Once all is said and done, there will likely be no politically-motivated return to Ground Zero and Bush probably won’t even spend the night in New York City.

But the schedule is not yet official. Let’s not underestimate Bloomberg’s ability to encourage folks from politicians to protesters to spend money in NY. I bet he’ll be able to squeeze at least night out of the White House.

Concentration is important!
