Boston Bounce

While the Dems may have been hoping for a Barry Bonds upper deck shot in the polls coming out of the convention, what they got was a Rod Carew slap to the opposite field resulting in a solid base hit. The bounce was there, but it was modest.

While campaign officials battle it out over who has the winning spin on this one, it pays to remember that these are sharply divided times when Democrats and Republicans will rarely even take up offers of anonymous and ramification-free sex with someone from a wrong-colored state. A little bounce is all anyone could’ve reasonably expected.

Concentration is important!
