Speak Now

The big question of this Convention is whether or not John Kerry can give the speech of his life (not to mention giving as good a speech as Sharpton). Can he make this campaign about him? I’ve said from the beginning that this election cannot be won solely via the rising anti-Bush mood rising among Dems and others. Today, Kerry is a part of a broader movement of those individuals and groups who are dedicated to the cause of ousting W.

You see it almost every fundraiser and meeting. The placards are about Bush. The tchotchkies are about Bush. The speakers are talking about Bush.

On Thursday night, the nominee will have about 45 minutes to make this an election about John Kerry.

Concentration is important!
