There is a longstanding adage in Hollywood that any publicity is good publicity. It’s no coincidence that rumors of affairs between stars always happen to emerge when two of them are appearing in movie that was just released.
But maybe there is such a thing as bad publicity. Think of it as the Gigli Effect. Some stars are apparently seeing it that way. The E! Channel (otherwise known as Hollywood’s PR Dept) is reportedly set to drop the show Celebrities Uncensored, a weekly diversion deeply rooted in the notion that looking bad can be good for a career.
