Al Gore has acquired an international news station that he plans morph into an independent news source directed towards youth.

Regardless of political leanings, I think pretty much everyone out there would have to admit that no one speaks to and connects with America’s youth culture quite the way Al Gore does…

From Gore: “The trend toward consolidation and conglomerate ownership, while understandable due to business dynamics, does present some problems for the American people. Having an independent voice is a very important value to safeguard.”
