Seth Cohen and his family offer television viewers a pretty realistic look at a reform Jewish family on The O.C. every week. They make Jewish jokes (that relate to Chinese food). They celebrated Passover during one episode. They feel guilty. This may be the most authentic portrayal of Jews I’ve seen since I pulled a quad muscle doing the Hora at my friend Andy’s Bar Mitzvah in 1979.
