It certainly hasn’t all been positive coverage (even error time is airtime), but Bush has a 3X lead over Kerry when it comes to the amount of live coverage each candidate is getting on cable. Part of this is of course just another expected advantage of incumbency. And we also happen to have a major story unfolding in which the President has a headlining role.
But is it more than that? Let’s face it. One of the requirements for any modern-day presidential run is that you make good TV.
